What will the world look like in the future? Will we retreat to floating homes and cities because of rising water levels? Will we construct massive domes around our cities to protect ourselves from a hostile climate? Or will we simply go on as we are now? One thing is certain: architecture is moving toward more sustainable, environmentally friendly, energy efficient designs. And one of the simplest ways to up the eco-friendly factor is to include green walls or a green roof. Some of these futuristic designs have already been approved for construction, and some of them have no possibility of ever being constructed.
