Michael Hill’s “Invisible” Neighborhood, New Zealand--

Kiwi tycoon Michael Hill wanted to build homes on and around his golf course, but he didn’t want them to interfere with the views of the area. So he gained permission to build 17 subterranean dwellings that will provide every modern comfort while preserving the natural beauty of the land. Common outdoor features like swimming pools won’t be allowed, but the interiors of the homes will sport luxurious features like wine cellars, libraries, and indoor lap pools.
