Moss Room Restaurant, San Francisco--

If most restaurants had moss growing on a wall, it would be alarming. But the Moss Room in San Francisco is in a subterranean room of the Academy of Sciences, and it features an impressive (and deliberate) 40-foot living wall covered in various mosses. The living wall was designed by Olle Lundburg and lends a truly unique atmosphere to the restaurant’s dining area.
