The idea of using those kinetic absorbing “bumps” instead of speed bumps, that are completely useless, is a great idea. I think that every major subdivision or place where speed has to be regulated should implement this idea. At first it would cost money, but like the article stated: conserving that energy then converting it to be used in the store would save more money in the long run. Personally I believe this idea will catch on and we will be seeing a lot more of these kinetic energy speed bumps being used.
