This article is very misleading. Watermelon, for instance, is extremely high in calories. It most certainly is not a negative calorie food. Furthermore, many of the fruits pictured and suggested in this article are extremely high in sugar. this can activate your insulin response, thus causing tiredness and weight gain. Only a few foods, like celery, grapefruit, and cranberries, for instance, are truly negative calorie foods. To be a negative calorie food, it must be very high in fiber and very low in calories by weight.

I love all of these fruits and veggies. They all contribute to a healthy lifestyle beyond just reducing our calorie intake. You mentioned the main benefits that include important vitamins, minerals as well as antioxidants. I love the picture of the blueberries, they look so good.

Getting as much fruits and veggies in your diet will never a bad thing. Filling up on them limits how much of the other foods you eat, and combining that with some exercise every day and you'll be on your way to a much healthier you!

Excellent pics too! Makes me wanna get up from my desk right now and go down to the local farmers market.
