The UnoCycle is amazing.
I do wonder if it is pracital and if the manufacture intends to release it on the market.
I think it would be a hit.

Just what we need - more toon cars. The general public will never accept these as useful vehicles. What we need are more conventional looking vehicles to get main stream acceptance.

I think these are GREAT! We need to play with our ideas before we start to limit them. Stles, colors, shapes - WOW!

We need to just stop making cars that look and act like the old ones. I don't want a plug-in that is just like the combustion car.

Versatility, safety, roadworthiness... YES. But let's break away from the hard nosed inflexible and all too male muscle head mentality that got us into this mess in the first place!

By the way - a word of warning. Don't be fooled into being corporate fueled!

We need plug-in electric cars and plug-in hybrids so WE can generate our own fuel from the sun and wind.

T Boone Pickins wants us to have big windmills for the grid but watch out for ANYONE, including T-Boone who pushes for natural gas or other corporate fuels. Let us learn from the greedy oily boys who robbed us with high gas prices. Keep these renewable and natural options in the hands of the ultimate users - US!

These electric cars, and most of the other ones I've checked out, are goofy.

Who NEEDS a car that will go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds? Who NEEDS a car that is so low slung that they would have to crawl into it? Who NEEDS a car that only has room for 1 person after grocery shopping?

Who NEEDS a car with so many bells and whistles that it is easier to crush it than fix it?

The best one I've seen for city use so far is the Reva G-Wiz.. I don't know anything about the reliability and repairability, but they look sensible and are reasonably priced.

I'm an electric bicycle rider myself because I'm a crackpot and want to do my little bit to encourage electric vehicle production.

Investment in battery manufacturing and research would be a good use of government money in these economic times. Lithium batteries are far to expensive now. I don't think they need to be. We need to get some economy of scale going on.
