Earth Art of Nash and Hanson
David Nash and Mikael Hanson both work with natural materials and conform them into artificial forms that exist in aesthetic ambiguity between organic and composite realms. Nash considers his work a form of recycling as he only selects materials (such as trees) slated for demolition or destruction. Hanson works with land art in a variety of forms, from interior displays to outdoor interactive installations. His work is centered above while the work of Nash is arrayed above and below it.
