I had a way too close encounter with one of the animals listed here- a box jellyfish. I can attest to how charming and beautiful it looked like from afar, like a coral or diaphanous sea flower. when I came within a few feet and saw what it was, I ran away, it seemed to panic and stung me. here are the pics: http://fruityfredda.blogspot.c.....n-100.html

Sorry, but that’s not a stone fish – it’s a scorpion fish. It’s venomous and well camouflaged, but it takes more than that to be a stone fish
