		<description>I don&#039;t mean to rain on the parade, but a Kir Royale is actually made with crème de cassis, a blackcurrant liqueur, not raspberry as stated in the article.  As fun as experimenting with variations on classic drinks is, at a certain point (changing 50% of the ingredients perhaps) the drink deserves its own name.

As a side note, although the classic martini recipe calls for orange bitters (and kudos for that), Angostura bitters are a completely different animal and have never been a part of the Martini recipe. I&#039;m not even going to touch the gin/vodka issue.</description>
