Antguan Racer

The Caribbean is home to this ultra-rare snake, who lives on a small island off the island of Antigua. Only about 200 Antiguan Racers exist on Great Bird Island. Settlers introduced rats to most of the natural habitats of the Antiguan Racer, the rarest snake on the planet. Rats overran the habitats and became an unbearable pest to every living thing on the islands. To hunt the rats, Humans introduced Asian Mongoose. Mongoose are diurnal while rats are nocturnal, though, so the mongoose feasted on snake eggs.
