Tidal and Wave Power Generating Islands
Why collect only one kind of energy when you can collect them all? These solar, wind, tide power generating islands are still conceptual but could be the wave of the future (pun intended). The idea is to harness as many alternative energy sources as possible – all at the same time. In addition to the typical basics these floating energy islands would also draw on the temperature differentials in surrounding water to generate thermal power.
