Worlds Biggest Underwater Tidal Power Station

Portugal is soon to be home to the world’s largest tidal energy project – with three hundred 60-foot-tall tidal turbines producing enough power to provide energy to 200,000 homes. Their out-of-the-way location on the ocean floor will help reduce their impact on ecosystems which near-to-the-surface tidal power generators are often much more challenged to do.
