Northern Bluefin Tuna

The Northern Bluefin Tuna has always been a popular ingredient in sushi, but sushi has never been more popular than today. Severe overfishing has put this particular species of tuna on the endangered species list under “critical.” But that hasn’t stopped poachers and sports fishers. Recently Robert DeNiro’s restaurant, Nobu, was caught serving the threatened fish by undercover Greenpeace investigators in London.
