The problem is not the amount of meat available, but how the human race is expanding and living longer.

The outcome is clear is my mind, but many others don’t see the bigger picture.

Animals (including humans) can only make use of about 10% of the energy inherent in the food they eat, so to feed ten pounds of human requires a hundred pounds of cow requires a thousand pounds of grass…

However, there are ways of raising animals that are less harmful than others, and as long as there are people who want to continue to be omnivores, in general I think it’s better that they choose animals that have been raised less harmfully.

I don’t agree that there is such a thing as sustainable meat. The human population is growing too big, too fast. And as long as you promote the concept that there is such a thing as sustainable meat, people who can’t afford that kind of meat will still eat the other kind. It simply won’t work.

Sustainable meat huh? Well, I guess it’s possible as long as you don’t mind the ethical implications of needlessly killing animals. Next we’ll have sustainable slavery and eco-friendly child prostitution. Why not when ethics is left off the table? All that matters is that it is cheap and sustainable, right?
