Biofuels have come under fire for a long time for taking up valuable land that could be dedicated to other forms of agriculture, making them seem like less and less of a viable option. Algae farms, however, don’t require prime agricultural real estate and are easily renewable – they could provide a critical replacement component to our current oil demands.
